Entry 3: identifying Bias

Item 1:

-        Stereotype

- This advertisement is an ad for a mark of car in China. The ad features is a beautiful and very sexy woman. She is haft naked and around her there are many men who are taking photos. The image of sexy women is abused for attracting the attention of the public. This is a serious problem which can bring lots of consequences. Such as, the woman is considered a sexual slave, the rate of female commerce increase and so on.

Item 2

-       Discrimination, prejudice

-      This is a picture demonstrating discrimination. The picture shows a group of white pins. They are different from the black pin. The white pins in the picture represent the white student at a school. They discriminate against the black ones. The black ones are all alone at the school.  In the past, the black people were not well treated because of their skin color. Nowadays, they are still discriminated at school. Because they were of a different skin color. And they must be undergone the class social of slave. 

Item 3:

-      Scapegoating

-      This picture shows a funny image of Putin (president of Russia). He is applied make-ups like a woman. But in his forehead. There is a slogan” Stop homophobia”. In Russia, lawmakers are not scapegoating gays. But, some people have not this reflection. They have the demonstrations with these banners. So they are scapegoating homosexual.
