Identifying Bias

•          Discrimination 
•         Analysis: People treat Thanh Hoa when they find someone to live together. Long-ago, there was bias toward Thanh Hoa because they are imposed as mean inhabitant and bad character.

ITEMS 2:

- Prejudice
- Analysis: people think that girls do not play sports as well as boys. In this picture, we can see a negative judgment toward girls’ ability of playing sports.

- Discrimination
- Analysis: The picture describes an interview. There are 2 women with different appearances and styles: young and old, sexy and rigid. The interviewer will employ “whoever can grab this banana first”. He said that it’s fair way but in fact, he hang the banana at the height of the sexy woman therefore the old woman cannot reach it.
