Entry3 _ Vũ Thị Huyền (10030348)

                                                                   ENTRY 3
                                                                Identifying Bias
Item I:

Stereotype
Analysis: When talking to the farmers as we think that they hard working, they must to work in the fields all day. Their life is difficult and hard working. Posible you think that they have a poverty life. They are less exposed to technology such as system network and less accept  system of higher education quality.

Item II:

Assumption
Analysis: In the picture you can see a man is very muscluar. I think he is always exercise and have a reasonable diet. And I think he is a very attractive man.

Item III:

Discrimination
Analysis: In the picture you can see a man who beatting his wife and children. Maybe he is a violent man with his wife and children and he is also regular drink alcohol. This is a social proplem should be solved

6 nhận xét:

  1. I think in Item 2, bias is stereotype because the picture make us think that men must have muscle.
In Item 3, I think it is not discrimination. I think It is bad action and problem in society.

  4. I have some comments for your entry:
    - first, in item 2, the mesage is "men are muscular", and so that bias is stereotype
    - second, in item 3, this picture is not bias, it just refers to gender - based violence, a hard - solving problem in society

  5. Here are some my comments:
    ITEM 1: IT IS OK
ITEM 2: It must be stereotype. You should try to find the message of this picture and after that give its bias.
ITEM 3: I think item 3 must be prejudice

  6. I think in item 3, the bias is prejudice because many of us always have a thought that drunk men often beat their wife and children.
